Solar System

Canus solar street lights are easily installed with no trenching or wiring required. Canus solar lights are typically mounted on specially designed steel poles manufactured to last for years and able to withstand the extreme wind and weather conditions.

Street Lights & Roadway Lights

Solar powered lighting system for streets, roadways, dark intersections, as well as parking lots and general area security lighting applications. These systems can bring illumination to troublesome security locations where it is difficult, expensive or impossible to run power lines. This is a great way to keep an area illuminated. Of course, because it is solar powered, the lamp because completely self-sufficient. Ideal for areas off the grid, you can power anything from lamps to a PartyPoker server with solar power - all it takes is a good day of sun and high-quality equipment. We offer high-quality solar-powered lighting like this to our customers.

Applications:

• Roadway and Street Lighting
• Parking Lots
• Security Perimeter Lighting
• Remote Area Lighting

Advantages:

• There is no need for electric meters hence no monthly bills,
• No electric company charges for bringing electricity to the site,
• No need of land use permission issues for carrying power across properties
• Installation is easy and the system is virtually maintenance free.
• Completely powered by the sun - no connection to grid power.
• Solar panels reduce fossil fuel consumption, eliminating pollution that can help on issues of greenhouse gases

System Operation

Commercial quality, solar powered lighting system. Solar panels absorb the suns' rays, even on overcast days, converting them to electricity. The electricity is stored in batteries. A microprocessor based regulator controls the functions of the system. It acts as a photocell - turning the light on at dusk and off at dawn. It can act as a timer - regulating the hours the light stays on. It regulates the battery - preventing overcharging and protecting against over discharging. The standard system is designed to operate for at least 3 consecutive days without sunlight.
